This year’s theme for Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) is “Embrace Your Voice“; a theme that is both timely and powerful.  With movements such as #Metoo and TIME Magazine naming “The Silence Breakers” the 2017 People of the Year, these courageous women and men have drawn from their collective experiences, anger, and fundamental belief in equality and have embodied “Embrace Your Voice” by breaking the silence on sexual assault and sexual harassment.

Sexual Assault Awareness Month is about raising public awareness of sexual violence and educating communities on how to prevent it.  How can you “Embrace Your Voice” and use your words to promote safety, respect, and equality to stop violence BEFORE it happens?  Here are some ways you can do just that:

Stand Up to Victim Blaming (Twitter Download)
