Campus Liason: Julia Sutherlin
Assistant Dean of Students
Julia Sutherlin is an assistant dean of students whose focus is on risk reduction related to alcohol and sexual assault. Julia has been at DePauw University since June 2002 and has held a number of roles within residence life and the dean of students office. She served for over a decade on the University’s sexual misconduct hearing board and from 2014-2016 was responsible for the adjudication process for sexual misconduct cases. Julia is also the convener of the university’s CARE Team and assumes a case manager role when working with students in a variety of crisis situations. Julia holds a bachelor of arts degree from Illinois Wesleyan Univerity (2001) and a Master of Science in Education from Indiana University (2006).
